We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2024 VAPW Scholarship!
This year, we're expanding eligibility to graduate students for the very first time in our program's history.
Our application will be open until February 11, 2024, 11:59 P.M.

The Vietnamese American Professional Women of Silicon Valley (VAPW) strives to outreach, educate, prepare and engage Vietnamese American professional women in areas of leadership and development, to provide a network of support and promote the professional growth of its members, to mentor and encourage predominantly underserved youths in the community to enter professional careers, and to encourage community responsibility and participation.
2023 VAPW Scholarship Recipients
This year, to commemorate VAPW's 15th Anniversary, we granted a record number of 10 scholarships to 10 remarkable students. The recipients included 2 graduating mentees from our mentoring program.

VAPW Proud Recipient of VABANC's 2022 Community Impact Award
It is with great honor that VAPW accepts the VABANC 2022 Community Impact Award for our work in the community. We are excited to be recognized for our contributions to the next generation as well as larger community. The award was presented in front of community leaders at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda on October 21.We thank the Vietnamese-American Bar Association of Northern California (VABANC) for putting us in the company of impactful leaders in the community.
VAPW Receives City of San Jose District 4 Grant
VAPW is proud to be the recipient of the City of San Jose grant. We are humbled by the trust the City has in supporting the organization and our mission. During a global pandemic, we continue to support our community with key programs for our youth. We're grateful we are not alone in this endeavor.Thank you councilmembers of District 4 for your support.
VAPW Receives Grant from Santa Clara County Supervisor Otto Lee
VAPW is grateful to receive the 2022 URJGENT Grant from Santa Clara County Supervisor Otto Lee. The rise in anti-Asian hate and violence has deeply impacted our members, and this grant will allow VAPW to organize a self-defense training to give our students and members the tools to protect themselves and make our community a safer place for us all.We thank Supervisor Otto Lee and his team for their support!
VAPW Receives Corporate Grants
VAPW is extremely grateful to receive continued support from HP and Wells Fargo. During this difficult COVID pandemic, our steadfast supporters were there once again. This year more than ever, our students are faced with many uncertainties. HP and Wells Fargo have eased the burden for our students as they head off to college. Our sincere thanks for your support.

VAPW Receives Grant from San Jose District 8 Council-member
VAPW is honored to receive a grant from San Jose District 8 Council-member Sylvia Arenas. One of our 2019 scholarship recipients, Vivian Truong, is from District 8 and we're grateful to be recognized with this grant. We continue our mission of supporting Vietnamese-American professional women and advancing the academic excellence of the youth in our community.

VAPW Receives HP Foundation 2019 Grant
VAPW is excited to receive the HP Foundation Grant for the 3rd year in a row. HP has been a strong supporter of the VAPW Mission and our promotion of young women in education. In addition to financial support, HP has generously donated HP products and accessories to better equip the students. Thank you HP for your support through grants, donations and volunteers. VAPW Receives Wells Fargo Grant
VAPW is proud to receive our first support from Wells Fargo. The corporate grant will go to fund the 2019 scholarship campaign. Scholarships are granted to high achieving students in the community to assist in academic advancement. Thank you Wells Fargo for your support in the organization.
